LARC is a private not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing individuals with developmental disabilities opportunities to work, live, and participate in their community.  Originally formed in 1956, as a school for children diagnosed with mental retardation (The Lansing School of Special Education), LARC has grown to provide day training, work activities, and senior programs to approximately 100 adults with developmental disabilities from across the Chicagoland Area. Additional services include ongoing educational initiatives, work opportunities in the community through mobile work crews and individual placement, and community integrated living arrangements or (CILA's) for 43 individuals in private housing around the community.

In order to continue to provide the highest quality of care to those we serve, we look to the generosity of our supporters.
