The Residential and Senior Services programs at LARC have part-time openings in group homes supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in Lansing, IL. DSP's provide support and supervision in a group residential setting and includes daily living supports and community activities with a person-centered approach. The Senior Services program focuses on the needs of individuals 55 and older with intellectual/developmental disabilities. The Residential program focuses on adults of all ages with intellectual/developmental disabilities. DSP's will utilize agency vehicles and must have a valid drivers' license and vehicle insurance. Additional requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 18 years of age or older, and a clean background check. Experience working with I/DD a plus. Shifts are primarily afternoons, midnight's and weekends but some daytime hours are available. Must be available to attend two week DSP classroom training.
