• Direct Support Professional (DSP)

The Residential and Senior Services program at LARC has part-time openings in group homes supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in Lansing, IL. DSP's provide support and supervision in a group residential setting and includes daily living supports and community activities with a person centered approach. The Senior Services program focuses on the needs of individuals 55 and older with intellectual/developmental disabilities. The Residential program focuses on adults of all ages with intellectual/developmental disabilities. DSP's will utilize agency vehicles and must have a valid drivers' license and vehicle insurance. Additional requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 18 years of age or older, and clean background check. Experience working with I/DD a plus. Shifts are primarily afternoons, midnight's and weekends but some daytime hours are available. Must be available to attend two week DSP classroom training.  This is a part-time position.

• Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP)

LARC has a full-time QIDP/Self-Directed Assistant position open within the Community Day Services Program in Lansing, Illinois. The position requires day-time availability, but must be flexible to meet the needs of the individuals. Candidate must provide supports and services to the individuals that LARC serves with a person-centered approach.  Job requirements include a bachelor's degree in a human services related field is required, as well as at least one-year experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Also required is a valid drivers license with a good driving record and automobile insurance. Candidate must have good communication, written, and organizational skills.  This is a full-time position.
