GET INVOLVED
Meeting our clients’ needs is always a challenge for us financially. Although we receive state funding to provide services, this funding often falls behind the rising costs of care – meeting only about 75% of the actual funds needed to bring quality programming and supports to our clients.
For this reason, donations are extremely impactful, making it possible for LARC to continue to promote job training and employment, daily life skills enrichment, senior care, 24-hour residential services, and special recreation to more than 100 adults with special needs each day.
The following are ways you can donate to LARC.
Make a Donation
Using our secure payment processing partner, Network for Good, you can safely use your credit card to make a one-time or recurring donation to LARC. You may also designate your gift in Honorarium or Memoriam.
If you prefer to submit a personal or cashier's check, send it to or drop it off at LARC, 19043 Wentworth Avenue, Lansing, IL 60438. Please make sure to include any details regarding your gift. To donate cash, please come to our office on Wentworth Avenue during business hours, generally 8:30am-4pm, Monday-Friday.
Planned Giving
These may include securities such as stocks, bonds or mutual funds, retirement plan distributions, life insurance policies, real estate, and other appreciated investments. Each may have different tax advantages to the donor, and all make a positive impact on individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities receiving services from LARC. In-Kind Gifts and Volunteer Opportunities
Gifts-in-kind are a great way to provide LARC and our clients with needed items, program supplies, or professional services. Examples of in-kind gifts include goods like food, clothing, furniture, office equipment, building materials, and volunteer services such as landscaping, painting, or professional consulting.
